Prescription

A Prescription Format Prescription is the basic formula on which the preparation is made. it is a written order by a physician to a pharmacist, requesting him to make a certain pharmaceutical preparation in a certain form and in a certain quantity to be given over to a patient.   It is the duty of a pharmacist to prepare medicines using his scientific knowledge and experience and hand over to the patient elegant preparations with clear instructions as to how medicines should be taken.   Since a prescription is a written order a pharmacist should not alter a prescription without the authority of the prescriber. whatever alterations, he must authorise in writing with his initials against all such alterations.  The Following four parts  could be identified in all prescriptions and for purposes of dispensing all these four parts are essential.              01.
